Fellside Lodge is set in a beautiful location with stunning views of Skiddaw and Latrigg and is just a short walk into Keswick. The peaceful ambiance, accentuated by the gentle sound of a brook at the rear, truly enhances the experience. From a practical standpoint, the lodge well-facilitated our needs. The kitchen had nearly all the essentials, which made cooking a breeze. We did note a lack of scissors and a peeler, but thankfully, we brought our own. A flat-screen TV, plenty of games, and a selection of DVDs kept us entertained during our downtime. The comfortable bed offered a great night’s sleep, and the additional sofa bed in the lounge provided extra space for relaxation. The facilities include brilliant storage options and even ironing facilities. For those considering a stay here, the combination of comfort and location gives great value for the price. While not the cheapest option, the amenities and cleanliness certainly justify it, especially for those looking for both comfort and connection to nature.
